Jim creates hand carved fish, aquatic birds and mammals. His unique fish figurines are truly art in wood. Using a chainsaw and other electric hand tools, his wildlife carvings are one of a kind in wildlife art. Jim's unique form of wood carving has evolved over many years. Jim started doing abstract wood art using only red cedar root materials. Jim, can carve most salt and fresh water fish species. He also carves aquatic water fowl such as herons, egrets and pelicans.
